Yo, so I lived in Korea for 2 years, and I find it highly unlikely that this is actually a park in Korea. The culture there is very 1950’s USA, very conservative. Most couple have never even kissed. Check your story yo - I think this is from somewhere else (Japan seems a good possibility).

it’s real, its found on jeju island, and it’s common for newly weds to visit the park during their honeymoon.
and even if korea is a very conservative nation, we’re not as controlled by christian prudes in the government, so lovely parks like this can exist.

What strikes me as odd, Thelonious, is that you seem completely unable to identify obvious “asian features.” Every single one of those figures looks decidedly korean.

The writings on the placards is most definitely Hangul. I’ve lived in Korea for the past 12 years, and I’ve not seen this attraction yet. But then again, I never went to Cheju-do.

I have to go with what Pman says here Gabe. I have also lived in Korea for 2 years and I teach in a University. The students may be more conservative and less experience than people of similar age back in the States or Canada. But Korea is DEFINITELY not 1950’s America. You need to get out more.
