Jena 6 Member Arrested For Fighting Again

Damn.
School officials contacted police about the fight Wednesday morning. An 18-year-old student told authorities two males approached him and asked if he had flattened the tires of “their homeboy’s” car, according to an affidavit supporting the arrest warrant.
The student said he didn’t, but the two told him they didn’t believe him and walked away.
Purvis, he said, approached him from behind immediately afterward, then grabbed him with one hand and began to choke him.
“Purvis continued to choke [the student] and told him, ‘Don’t you ever mess with my car again,’” the affidavit said. “Purvis then pushed his head into the seating area of the bench,” causing the student to strike his left eye, then walked away.
The whole Jena 6 situation was fucked up, and definitely involved some good ole down home racism, but after they went to the BET Awards, I was thinking..what the fuck? These niggas looked like Jim Jones and Juelz or somebody. Who’s advising these kids? Oh yeah, one or both of our so-called black leaders. Shit, think about these “black leaders”. Jesse Jackson? That nigga got a baby mama. Al Sharpton? That nigga got a perm. Both of them niggas are NOT supporting the first black man with a real chance at the Presidency (along with some other house niggas in public office and the church). The first two niggas that wanna jump up and march over anything that can get them in the news are two of the mothafucka’s responsible for the conditions we’re in today. If you gon lead, lead, don’t just lead a godamn march. Bryant, keep yo ass out of trouble lil nigga, you can’t give them the chance to say “I told you so”.

this is a bit sad, but this is why Barack Obama’s message is so important. Dude is telling us Yes We Can. He said in his super tuesday speech that we are the important ones and he’s saying that he is not out next great leader but we are without saying it.

I agree 100. As a black man who was lucky enough (fingers still crossed) to make it through my youth selling dope and all kinds of other young dumb shit without catching any felonies, I voted, and voted for Barack. Any brothers or sisters that didn’t vote should be ashamed. We gotta vote for all of us who can’t, and who couldn’t. Next we gotta vote to get all these Uncle Tom, Step N’ Fetchit, Yes Sir Massah “negroes” out of office on the local and state level, and get some people in there for this new movement. People that instead of shit-talking the youth, try to understand them, instead of shit-talking us MC’s, work with us and get us involved in the political process so black’s, latino’s, and the poor have a voice.
