The annual product bible All Gone arrived in LA with a bash on Friday, February 20th at UNDFTD Silverlake. All Gone 2008, the finest of street culture, is a hard cover book of 256 pages, limited edition of 1500 copies. Sponsors Belvedere IX and Stones Throw toasted the night with free drinks and like-minded aficionados with nu school soul sensation Mayer Hawthorne on the wheels. This vinyl junkie caught the ear off BBC 1 radio host Giles Peterson and producer/DJ Mark Ronson. He was signed to Stones Throw after label head Peanut Butter Wolf heard only two tracks, in which Mayer played all instruments and did all vocal arrangements for. Dam-Funk aka “Ambassador of Boogie Funk” jumped on the wheels as well. Peanut Butter Wolf was in the house as well as many other familiar faces.
